You can read a lot of stuff online by one group of tech geeks loudly proclaiming their tech-tools are the real thing and bashing everyone else. We’re not going to get sucked into that. Suffice it to say that we use the same programming language and database tools that are used for sites like Facebook.com, Wikipedia.org, Yahoo.com, digg.com, and about 20 million other web domains. If you work with FLEXISS Digital Design we’d like to think you don’t need to worry about which programming language is best. (When you walk into a restaurant do you have to quiz them about their tableware?) But just in case you’d like to know our preferred tools, here you go…

PHP – PHP is a server side scripting language that is especially well suited for dynamic web pages. This language forms the foundation of most of the FLEXISS Digital Design portfolio. With PHP, we are able to create dynamic scripts that draw the visitor into the site with interactive forms, search ability, information and content retrieval and much more. PHP is an open source language that is created and maintained by a worldwide consortium of developers, creating a technology that is robust, secure and powerful.

MySQL – Our choice of database is MySQL, the world’s most popular open source database application. MySQL paired with PHP is a powerful combination that fuels a vast number of website across the web.

CSS – For display of your content, we incorporate standards compliant design and layout through Cascading Style Sheets. CSS enables us to quickly define style and layout of your content and consistently display it across various browsers.

HTML – All the server side scripting, databases and flashy design in the world doesn’t mean a thing without good ol’ HTML. Building websites is what we do, and HTML is the foundational technology that this business is built on.
