One “Facebook App” every fan page should be using!
If you are looking to be more creative with your Facebook fan page, I strongly suggest using the Iframes for Pages application. This app allows you to add a fully customizable tab to your page. It also allows you to create a Fan Gate, encouraging people to like your page.

What is a Facebook Fangate?
A Facebook Fangate deciphers whether or not a user is a fan of a page, and displays certain pages accordingly. An example of this is when you go to a page that you are not a fan of and it displays a custom page, asking you to become a fan. Once you have clicked the ‘like’ button it takes you to another page designed for fans only. Using a Fangate is a great way to encourage more users to like your page.
